DISSEMINATION EVENT AT BRIGHT 2024
On 27 September 2024, at BRIGHT 2024, the European Researchers’ Night, the on-going and future activities foreseen, as well as the partial results of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT project were presented to university and high school students as well to participating citizens. During the event, a fruitful discussion took place between all the participating interested parties on the results and future perspectives of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT activities.

On 26 September 2025, at BRIGHT 2025, the European Researchers’ Night, the on-going and future activities foreseen, as well as the partial results of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT project were presented to university and high school students as well to participating citizens. During the event, a lively debate took place between all the participating interested parties on the results and future perspectives of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT activities.
INTERMEDIATE CONFERENCE 2024
On 5-6 th December 2024, a two-days intermediate conference was hosted at the University of Siena by Prof. Massimiliano Montini, Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT. The conference was organized in co-operation with the Forum on “environment energy and sustainability” of the Italian Association of European Union Law (AISDUE) and the Europe Direct Centre on the University of Siena. The conference dealt with the new challenges of environmental sustainability in the EU, and especially on the European Green Deal and its implementing legislation, with a particular focus on the most relevant issues regarding sustainable development, climate and circular economy policies. The proceedings of the conference were published in an open access form, in the Italian association of European Union law journal (…).
FINAL CONFERENCE 2026
On 20 th May 2026 (from 10AM to 1PM; and from 2PM to 6PM), the Final Conference of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT took place. The final event brought together not only the project teaching staff, but also several other scholars, practitioners and professionals. The final conference was streamed online to enable the broadest online participation of all interested parties, including students, associations, policymakers and public officials, as well as the general public. During the event, the 3-year project results were presented and new strands of teaching and research in the field of circular economy as well as new academic collaboration at Italian and European level were explored.
FINAL CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS PUBLICATION 2026
The publication of the Final Conference proceedings is on-going. The proceedings will be published in open access format under the scientific responsibility of Prof. Massimiliano Montini, Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT. The principal aim of the publication of the proceedings will
be to present the main results of the Jean Monnet Chair CE4INT project and pave the way for
further teaching and research activities in the areas of EU sustainability and circular economy.
