An annual Seminar on “Food and the Circular economy” for students and professors, consumers, companies, associations will be organized in collaboration with Qualivita Foundation – Siena, a foundation created in 2002 for the valorization and protection of quality European agri-food products.
- Seminar “Circular economy: what impact on the business sector?” (4 hours)
An annual Seminar on Circular economy: what impact on the business sector?” will be organized for entrepreneurs in collaboration with Confindustria Toscana, a regional branch of the Italian association representing manufacturing and service companies.

- Public event: “The European Parliament and Circular Economy” (4 hours)
An annual public event for students, professors and society at large will be organized at the Rectorate building Great Hall of the University of Siena with candidates to the European Parliament (Spring 2024) and newly-elected MPs (Spring 2025 and 2026) for a public debate around the European Elections and the role of the European Parliament for an effective transition to a circular economy production and consumption system. Held on the eve of the European elections of 2024, the first of these seminars will also contribute to raise European Elections awareness and participation.

- High School Class “Learning the EU and Circular Economy at School” (4 hours)
During the week of the 9 May, an event with Europe Direct Siena on European Union history, institutions and policies, with a focus on Circular Economy as a key pillar of the European Green Deal, will be organized. This will involve the participation of high school students (16- 18 years old) belonging to schools with which Europe Direct Siena has a long-standing collaboration. This class will be organized into two parts: in the first two hours students will learn the history, institutions, and policies of the European Union; in the second part of the class, students will learn the European Union commitment for the environment and sustainability, with a special focus on circular economy and the role of young consumers
